This
itinerary is for those of you traveling on a budget and all
your accommodation is in B&B’s. These homes, though
not as luxurious as some of the other hotels and guesthouses
available, all offer a very good standard of accommodation
and you are assured of a most warm welcome wherever you go
and stay. This is again an inclusive itinerary of the west
coast with an extension or change to include Dublin if you
so wish.
You collect your self-drive car at Shannon Airport on your
arrival and then during your 8 days here you have the opportunity
to visit many of the following locations and sights. Connemara
and Kylemore Abbey, Leenane and Letterfrack. Galway City and
then further south in Clare the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher.
Then you travel into Kerry and spend one night on the beautiful
Dingle Peninsula and from there on towards Killarney for two
nights. During your time here you may choose to tour the Ring
of Kerry or alternatively spend your time enjoying the local
sights around Killarney such as the Gap of Dunloe, Killarney
National Park, Muckross House and Gardens and much more. Your
last night then is close in Bunratty which is close to Shannon
Airport for your flights home/onwards.
NOTE: Many people
choose this itinerary but then like to treat themselves for
one night in perhaps a 4 or 5 star hotel. Should you consider
this option we will be happy to discuss this with you or any
other queries that you may have.
Again, as with all our itineraries, your arrival and departure
locations will determine the route so an arrival into Dublin
and departure from Shannon is not a problem. |
