GARDENS of IRELAND

maryogrady@eircom.net – contact me if you are interested in visiting some or many of our great gardens here in Ireland. As Powerscourt Garden has recently been named as the third best garden in the world by the National Geographic Magazine this is indeed an appropriate time to encourage you to visit Powerscourt and many other gardens during your tour here in Ireland.
Irish Travel Plans can compile a Garden Trail itinerary for you and your group or alternatively include a visit to many gardens along this tour.
The National Botanic Garden with 15,000 plant species from around the world can be visited during your stay in Dublin.
Here I will mention just a few including Garnish Island in the sheltered harbour of Glengariff in Bantry Bay. On the northern slope of the Iveragh Peninsula is Kells Bay Garden and on the south coast are Lismore Castle & Gardens. Mount Usher and Kilruddery Gardens are also in Co. Wicklow and in Carlow you can visit the Altamont Gardens.
So contact Irish Travel Plans for your tailor made itinerary that can include many garden visits and by September we hope to have a special Garden Tour available for May or June 2015.
